Genesis Brewing is a home brewery run by Adam Swanson with occasional help (and constant support) from his wife, Heidi. It’s story began in 2014 when Heidi recommended a 2-gallon Mr Beer starter brewing kit as an early Christmas gift from her parents. Five months and five brews later, he made the jump to 5-gallon partial mash brews using John Palmer’s ‘How to Brew’ as a guide. Soon after that he discovered a more laid back approach to brewing with hard cider after reading an article on Brulosophy.
Genesis Brewing’s latest leap forward has been the switch to 10-gallon all-grain brews in November of 2017 in preparation of serving homebrew at Adam and Heidi’s wedding the following April. As of August 2017, Genesis Brewing has carefully brewed over 50 batches of alcohol, including beer, cider, mead, and even hard lemonade. The goal has always been to create beer that everybody can enjoy, and that philosophy continues today. We love to share everything we make, and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.
